“Un evento importante quello di oggi sull’emicrania e sulla cefalea che impatta pesantemente sulla vita delle persone: una donna su tre soffrono di questa patologia, che è una patologia invalidante, cronica, che ha la necessità di essere riconosciuta nel piano delle cronicità per supportare la qualità di vita dei pazienti, ma anche per dare loro nuovi diritti”, ha affermato Malavasi del Partito Democratico a margine del convegno “Emicrania: progetti innovativi di presa in carico” organizzato da Dini Romiti Consulting a Roma, nella Sala del Cenacolo della Camera dei Deputati. “Il costo sociale e sanitario è un costo elevato: si parla di quasi 5 milioni di euro che sono in parte a carico del sistema sanitario. Oggi abbiamo bisogno che i fondi che sono arrivati alle Regioni vengano prorogati perché è partita un’importante sperimentazione per attivare progetti innovativi nelle Regioni e dobbiamo ragionare su ulteriori risorse per le Regioni”, ha aggiunto.
