“Il tema della difficoltà di accesso alle cure è di grande attualità e complessità. Anche il nostro osservatorio come Deloitte ha tracciato l’aggravarsi di questo fenomeno. Da qui il tema di equità in salute. Che non è solo equo accesso all’evento clinico. Ma dell’influenza di fattori socio economici e una serie di barriere. La prospettiva è di lavorare su un maggiore coordinamento, serviranno maggiori risorse tra parte pubblica e privata. E la valorizzazione del terzo settore che tra sanità e sociale ha mostrato una grande capacità di risposta ai bisogni della nostra società”, le parole di Guido Borsani, Presidente di Fondazione Deloitte, a margine della presentazione del Progetto San Bartolomeo, che l'Ospedale Gemelli Isola Tiberina e la Comunità di Sant'Egidio hanno avviato con il supporto di Deloitte. Il progetto è nato per ampliare e facilitare l'accesso ai servizi sanitari nei confronti delle persone con fragilità. L’iniziativa permette di usufruire di prestazioni sanitarie gratuite, con assistenza diretta in quanto a bisogni e percorsi necessari. La fase pilota è partita a gennaio 2023, e da allora circa 170 utenti hanno avuto accesso agli ambulatori di Ginecologia/Ostetricia, Senologia e Odontoiatria.
