"Abbiamo delle priorità. Tra queste la politica estera e di sicurezza comune. Serve un ruolo politico dell'Unione Europea che è stato insufficiente. Serve anche per contribuire alla fine delle guerre in corso, in Ucraina e in Palestina con il massacro a Gaza. Serve un maggior protagonismo. E poi serve un nuovo sistema europeo della solidarietà. Mentre Meloni fa cinici accordi con l'Albania, l'Italia resta l'Albania dei suoi alleati nazionalisti in Europa. Queste le nostre priorità e come la prima delegazione all'interno del Partito Socialista Europeo discuteremo delle proposte e di quello che dirà Von Der Leyen in Parlamento" lo ha detto la segretaria del Pd Elly Schlein, intervenendo alla conferenza in cui il gruppo al Senato del Pd ha esposto le ragioni per cui si oppone al decreto liste d'attesa.
